Safety is not a feature. It's the foundation.
Singles Weekend is built on a simple belief: that real connection requires real trust. We take our duty of care seriously — not because we have to, but because it's the only way this works.
Every event has a dedicated host who is present throughout the weekend, sober, trained in conflict de-escalation, and authorised to act immediately if anyone's safety or comfort is compromised.
Zero tolerance. Any behaviour that compromises the safety, comfort or dignity of another guest results in immediate removal from the event — without refund — and a permanent ban from all future Singles Weekend events.
Our vetting process
Every guest goes through the same process before their spot is confirmed. There are no exceptions.
- 1Are not currently subject to any active protection, restraining or violence order in any jurisdiction
- 2Have no convictions for violent or sexual offences
- 3Agree to our Code of Conduct, which mandates respectful interaction with all guests and staff at all times
- 4Agree to consume alcohol responsibly and understand that disruptive intoxication may result in immediate removal
- 5Understand that providing false information constitutes a breach of contract and may result in legal action
On the ground
Our events are small by design. With only 30 guests, our host knows every person in the room — which makes it far easier to notice and act on anything that doesn't feel right.
